Rice Fields of Japan - Displays on the field in art form !!!

Everything has a Beauty. But, not everyone sees it.....
RICE FIELDS OF JAPAN - AMAZING
Looks ordinary enough...... but watch as the rice grows!!!!!!

Stunning crop art has sprung up across rice fields in Japan , but this is no alien creation.
The designs have been cleverly PLANTED!
Farmers creating the huge displays use no ink or dye. Instead, different colour rice plants
have been precisely and strategically arranged and grown in the paddy fields.
As summer progresses and the plants shoot up, the detailed artwork begins to emerge.

A Sengoku warrior on horseback has been created from hundreds of thousands of rice plants.
The colours are created by using different varieties of rice plants, whose leaves grow in certain colours.
This photo was taken in Inakadate , Japan ....

Napoleon on horseback can be seen from the skies.
This was created by precision planting and months of planning by villagers and farmers located in Inkadate , Japan ...

Fictional warrior Naoe Kanetsugu and his wife, Osen, whose lives are featured on the television series 'Tenchijin' appear in fields in the town of Yonezawa in the Yamagata prefecture of Japan ....

This year, various artwork has popped up in other rice-farming areas of Japan , including designs of deer dancers.
Smaller works of 'crop-art' can be seen in other rice-farming areas of Japan such as this image of Doraemon and deer dancers. The farmers create the murals by planting little purple and yellow-leafed Kodaimai rice along with their local green-leafed Tsugaru, a Roman variety, to create the coloured patterns in the time between planting and harvesting in September.
The murals in Inakadate cover 15,000 square meters of paddy fields.

From ground level, the designs are invisible, and viewers have to climb the mock castle tower of the village office to get a glimpse of the work.

Closer to the image, the careful placement of the thousands of rice plants in the paddy fields can be seen. Rice-paddy art was started there in 1993 as a local revitalization project, an idea that grew from meetings of the village committees.

The different varieties of rice plants grow alongside each other to create the masterpieces.
In the first nine years, the village office workers and local farmers grew a simple design of Mount Iwaki every year. But their ideas grew more complicated and attracted more attention.

In 2005, agreements between landowners allowed the creation of enormous rice paddy art.
A year later, organizers used computers to precisely plot the planting of four differently colored rice varieties that bring the images to life!

TRULY A WORK OF ART!

He Must Love Me.... A Lot!!!

Life has been pretty exciting and dramatic for me lately.

'Exciting' because the recording of my band's album has finally completed. Now only left the mixing, mastering and taking of photos for our album cover and website. Then we are good to release our album. Can't wait to see how the response will be.

As for the 'Dramatic' part, many things have been happening to people that I know, where those are real life stories and experiences which most people still think that could only exist in all those drama series.

With all these many things happening in my life and those around me, again reminds and emphasizes God's love for me. I'm pretty sure God really love me a great lot because of what & who he has given me in my life. Sometimes I do wonder if I'm in a dream coz certain things are just too good to be true and surreal. And I do have the fear that I might lose everything I have now.

So dear Lord, if this is really a dream, please do not wake me up, ever. Meanwhile, I'm just gonna enjoy my life with everything He has given me. With gratitude. :)

P/S: The greatest gift God has given me todate ---> My hubby. ^.^

Sebamed - The Oily Scalp Savior

Ok...it seems like I'm the most defective product in the family as I am the odd one in the family who suffer acne problem and oily scalp problem. :(

I am having another major round of acne attack again recently and I have yet to find any cure for it. I'm actually on external and oral medication now just to control the situation as the skin specialist said there is no cure to my problem. It can only be controlled and suppressed by using drugs. Acne is the most depressing problem in my entire life and l am so lucky to have a loving husband who never failed to support me and make me feel good about myself even when he has to put up with my horrible face during my periodical acne attack. :)

Another problem I've been trying to battle is my oh-so-oily scalp. I used to having to wash my hair every single day without fail, else it will be very itchy and I look horrible as the hair is oily and flat thus makes me look very dirty and untidy. I've tried most of the brands in the market and have spent lots of money even on those branded and expensive brand but none of them works. I've also turned to those organic type as I suspected maybe those commercial brands are too harsh for my scalp. But, after trying many brands, none that seems to help as well.

Then one day, while I was browsing the shampoos and contemplating of which one should I try this time round, I decided to go for Sebamed Anti Dandruff Shampoo. After one use, I must say that I'd practically shouted for joy as I've finally found the shampoo to combat my oily scalp which annoyed me for years. Now I can actually wash my hair every 2 or 3 days (if I don't sweat) with no sign of oiliness or itchiness.

So if you have the same problem as me then wait no more. You should run to the nearest pharmacy to buy the shampoo. Try it to believe it! :)

What Life Has Installed For Me?

At some point of everyone's life, we tend to ponder what life has installed for us? What has God planned for us on this earth? What is the purpose of our life in this world? While I do believe about fate & luck to a certain extend as some things are just not meant to be, but besides that I suppose that our destinies lies in our very own hands.

I once read the following blond joke:

A blond woman and her fiancé just got married. They were really poor so she went to church and prayed. "God, I need to win the lottery. My husband and I really need the money. Please!" So she went home that evening and watched to see if she won the lottery. She didn't. So she went back to church to pray again. "Please, God, we really need the money. Please." She went back home and again, she did not win the lottery. She went back to church and she said, "God, why won't you let me win the lottery?" A big, booming voice said, "Lady, you need to buy a lottery ticket to win the lottery!"

So you see, God does not spoon feed us because by doing so we will never learn anything and will never appreciate the people and things around us. We need to work towards our goals on our own and there will be many obstacles and trial & error along the way. It might be frustrated and heartbreaking at times but that is how we learn & rise to be a better person through out the journey. God will guide us and lead us along the way if we open our hearts and listen to him.

It is like the lyrics from Miley Cyrus's song, The Climb, "Ain't about how fast I get there, Ain't about what's waiting on the other side, It's the climb". Sometimes life is not fair and while we try to do our very best, hoping that whatever efforts we put in will bear sweet fruits, but the fact is not everyone will make it. But to me at least we try and we get to learn so much more in life while doing what we do.

No matter what we want to do in life, we must have the beliefs and just go for it. The First step is the most crucial one, and then comes the perseverance to go through the bitter sweet journey. Always set a target date for yourself when you try to achieve something and if it really doesn't work out by then, you can choose either to carry on or let it go. Letting go is not the same as giving up. People give up when they are frustrated or when they have lost the momentum or interest after a while. Letting go is a form of self realization that no matter how hard they try, things are just not meant to be, hence they let go and move on.

Every decision made and every action taken will lead to series of reactions and consequences. We can only choose one direction to work on at one time so that we can stay focus. So if you have any goal or wild dream that you want to achieve, just get your butt up and start moving. Never say things like, "It's too late", "I could have do this when ......", "I've missed the timing" or anything that would prevent you to go for your dream because the very same action being execute at different time will bring different results. So the important thing is now and the future.

We are what we made of and we shall carve our own path.

At What Cost?

I've came across an Asian girl profile in FB who is currently resides in US as those event/promoter girl. Like many other Asian who are trying to get some fame, glamour and money that the West has to offer, she has a pair of fake big boobs with heavy make up and also to project herself as a sexy siren in order to get noticed and to gain a slice of the big pie in the entertainment industry. She is also a model and was featured in some magazines' cover and center folds. In one of her interviews she made a statement that, "You Can Make It Happen, If You Want It Bad Enough".

I totally agree with what she said. In fact, having set my toes in the modeling industry in the pass 8 months has given me the insight about what modeling/beauty /entertainment industry really is. It is a very competitive industry as many young girls would like to get themselves under the lime lights for the fame, glamour & money like I mentioned above, even in Malaysia.

Not many are so lucky to get picked by talent scout and be given job for big brand where you get recognition right away. It is not easy to get noticed or recognize in this field as there are many competitions around. There are many struggles and hard work but that might not get you anywhere if you don't have the luck or connection. Many girls would have to do lot more to achieve what they want and some make it and some might not.

As I started off modeling rather late so whatever I'm doing now is more of like a challenge to myself to see if I can make it and how far I can achieve. I'm definitely not intended to compete with all the young girls out there as my 'golden' period has passed. :D

As much as I want to try my very best to achieve something in this line, my hands are tights. There are many reasons why I can't do as much as what other girls would do to try to make it in this industry. The question is, "What is the price I'm willing to pay?" but on the other hand, since I'm married, a full time employed and have commitments, I am no longer qualified to play the game. I will not say further about what are the things I might need to do in order to make it in the modeling industry (for the majority) as I think it is not ethical even though many people could have guess it or some might actually know it.

All I can say is in order to make it in this industry (more or less those that put you under the limelights) besides those few really lucky one, you need to have the following attributes in order to at least make it somewhere. But then again it is also all depends on individuals fate.

So these are the attributes:
1. Starts at very young age
2. Must be single (it will be better if you are not seeing anyone)
3. Go for as many talent castings and auditions as possible
4. Sell yourself (as in to market yourself to get noticed)
5. Associate yourself with all the people in the related industries (once you are in the circle, you will notice that more and more people in the same industry would approach you)
6. Upkeep of oneself (unless you have rich parents to support you, else you will have to find other source of income to do so (any guess?)
7. Do not be choosy. The main thing is to get yourself noticed out there so for the start, even if without or very little pay just go for it.
8. Go ahead and do whatever you think might help you to make it in this industry, be it cosmetic surgery, or get financial support from someone (but there is no free lunch in this world, if you get what I mean).

There are generally 3 basic motives for most girls who want to get into this industry. Some girls do it for the fame and glamour, some do it for the money (to feed their material needs) and some are doing it for both. However, there are those who doing it out of passion or some by chance that they got selected by talent scouts. But whatever the reason(s) may be, as long as you are willing to pay the price and you are not really hurting anyone, I would say just go for it and go get what you want or dream of.

After all, you only live once!

What's Happenning???

Mmmmm...my two sisters in law just got their new hairdos on Tuesday. They went to a salon located at Kg. Cempaka. The end result is great and the best thing is, it is dirt CHEAP!!! Seriously, coz for a nicely done haircut plus dyeing it only cost RM83!!!!

I am planning to trim my hair and get touch up for my highlight before the CNY so guess I'll go there & give it a try. :)

Planning to go for Karaoke tomorrow at first but have to brush off the idea now coz I'm having sore throat. :( This is all due to the orientation session yesterday evening. Talking continuously for almost 2 hours got my throat all sore. I get it everytime I do orientation for new employee(s). :( Think I should record and play the recording next time so that I don't need to talk so much. :D

Perhaps I'll catch a movie tomorrow. Plan to see our local production Chinese movie called 'WooHoo' since many people told me it is good. I have not seen any Chinese movie for a very long time, not unless there is really good ones. Nevertheless, since my big bro is the lead actor in this movie, I shall show my support. :D
