I've came across an Asian girl profile in FB who is currently resides in US as those event/promoter girl. Like many other Asian who are trying to get some fame, glamour and money that the West has to offer, she has a pair of fake big boobs with heavy make up and also to project herself as a sexy siren in order to get noticed and to gain a slice of the big pie in the entertainment industry. She is also a model and was featured in some magazines' cover and center folds. In one of her interviews she made a statement that, "You Can Make It Happen, If You Want It Bad Enough".
I totally agree with what she said. In fact, having set my toes in the modeling industry in the pass 8 months has given me the insight about what modeling/beauty /entertainment industry really is. It is a very competitive industry as many young girls would like to get themselves under the lime lights for the fame, glamour & money like I mentioned above, even in Malaysia.
Not many are so lucky to get picked by talent scout and be given job for big brand where you get recognition right away. It is not easy to get noticed or recognize in this field as there are many competitions around. There are many struggles and hard work but that might not get you anywhere if you don't have the luck or connection. Many girls would have to do lot more to achieve what they want and some make it and some might not.
As I started off modeling rather late so whatever I'm doing now is more of like a challenge to myself to see if I can make it and how far I can achieve. I'm definitely not intended to compete with all the young girls out there as my 'golden' period has passed. :D
As much as I want to try my very best to achieve something in this line, my hands are tights. There are many reasons why I can't do as much as what other girls would do to try to make it in this industry. The question is, "What is the price I'm willing to pay?" but on the other hand, since I'm married, a full time employed and have commitments, I am no longer qualified to play the game. I will not say further about what are the things I might need to do in order to make it in the modeling industry (for the majority) as I think it is not ethical even though many people could have guess it or some might actually know it.
All I can say is in order to make it in this industry (more or less those that put you under the limelights) besides those few really lucky one, you need to have the following attributes in order to at least make it somewhere. But then again it is also all depends on individuals fate.
So these are the attributes:
1. Starts at very young age
2. Must be single (it will be better if you are not seeing anyone)
3. Go for as many talent castings and auditions as possible
4. Sell yourself (as in to market yourself to get noticed)
5. Associate yourself with all the people in the related industries (once you are in the circle, you will notice that more and more people in the same industry would approach you)
6. Upkeep of oneself (unless you have rich parents to support you, else you will have to find other source of income to do so (any guess?)
7. Do not be choosy. The main thing is to get yourself noticed out there so for the start, even if without or very little pay just go for it.
8. Go ahead and do whatever you think might help you to make it in this industry, be it cosmetic surgery, or get financial support from someone (but there is no free lunch in this world, if you get what I mean).
There are generally 3 basic motives for most girls who want to get into this industry. Some girls do it for the fame and glamour, some do it for the money (to feed their material needs) and some are doing it for both. However, there are those who doing it out of passion or some by chance that they got selected by talent scouts. But whatever the reason(s) may be, as long as you are willing to pay the price and you are not really hurting anyone, I would say just go for it and go get what you want or dream of.
After all, you only live once!

What's Happenning???
Mmmmm...my two sisters in law just got their new hairdos on Tuesday. They went to a salon located at Kg. Cempaka. The end result is great and the best thing is, it is dirt CHEAP!!! Seriously, coz for a nicely done haircut plus dyeing it only cost RM83!!!!
I am planning to trim my hair and get touch up for my highlight before the CNY so guess I'll go there & give it a try. :)
Planning to go for Karaoke tomorrow at first but have to brush off the idea now coz I'm having sore throat. :( This is all due to the orientation session yesterday evening. Talking continuously for almost 2 hours got my throat all sore. I get it everytime I do orientation for new employee(s). :( Think I should record and play the recording next time so that I don't need to talk so much. :D
Perhaps I'll catch a movie tomorrow. Plan to see our local production Chinese movie called 'WooHoo' since many people told me it is good. I have not seen any Chinese movie for a very long time, not unless there is really good ones. Nevertheless, since my big bro is the lead actor in this movie, I shall show my support. :D

Please Go Away!!!
Hmmm... wonder why most of the time when I have some special occasion or photoshoot coming up, I tend to get lots of breakouts. Could it be coincidence or due to unknowing stress?
I'm having a 2 days photoshoot tomorrow and yes, I have another round of breakouts again this time. There are a few on my chin area as one on my right cheek. Those don't bother me that much it can be easily cover up by make up. The annoying one is right at the tip of my nose. Not only it is big, it is also red and hard and the lump is so obvious. The Photog gonna have to spend more time to touch up my nose.
So I pray for miracle that God will removes the unsightly zits from my face when I wake up tomorrow. :D

Wakakakaka... Just realized I have not update my blog since my last post on 27th Dec 2009. I was so lazy, didn't even leave a 'Happy New Year' message here.
It is the 12th day of Jan 2010 and so much have happened in these short 12 days. Scary though as it seems half a month is passing which means we are down to 11 months and 19 days away to year 2011.
After watching the movie 2012, it is kind of scary to know that we only left with less than 2 years to enjoy our lives. I'm not sure if the prophecy will ever come true and I hope I won't, irregardless, we must continue to live our lives to the fullest and make each day counts.
I have stop making any New Year Resolutions for years simply because majority of us never achieve even 10% of what we have set at the beginning of the year. So instead of sighing and sulking about how little I have achieve, I rather not set anything and just play by ears as I live my life. That way, I will only focus on what I've achieve and not looking at what I have not achieve and feel down about it at the end of the day.
I'm not a greedy person and I'm rather contented with my life, nevertheless, that doesn't stop me from trying to get the better of everything in my life. :) I am constantly finding ways to improve everything in my life and to seek the true happiness in life.
I have written quite a number of stuffs in my blogs mainly to share my life and hopefully it will help someone in someway should anyone in need read my blog. I know some people said it is easier said than done to somethings I advice/share, but I am a lady of principal and I always walk the talk. Whatever I share in my blog, I do apply and practice in my daily life.
I am no Saint. I do have feelings, emotions and tempers just like anyone else. And I'm totally capable of getting upset, hurt, happy , and etc like you. However, what I practice in my life allowed me to forgive and forget faster. I don't get upset easily because of how I choose to live my life. I never say it is easy for me to do so and be where I am today but it is not that hard either. We just have to learn to see things beyond the surface and try to put ourselves in other people shoes and to ask ourselves "What would I do (if I'm in that situation)?" and you will be surprise how things turn out to be sometimes.
Step away from all the paradigms and judgements and learn to open up your heart and mind to think things from different perspectives, and then one day hopefully you will be as happy as me. :)
I don't have the best of everything, but I make the best of everything I have.
No one is perfect. Learn to accept and love others as they are as how we hope others would accept and love us as we are.

Time To Say Goodbye....
My my.... it is again the time to say goodbye to another year in our life. 2009 is going to ends in 4 days and all will be welcoming 2010 with new hope, resolutions, wishes and goals.
Looking back, I must say that I am truly blessed by Him and I would like to thank Him for my love ones and everything that happened in this past year in my life. I have so much to be thankful for and nothing to complaint about. Sure sometimes I'd grumbled to my hubby about some work issues as well as some people inconsiderate behaviours, nevertheless I am glad and grateful for everything that has happened and everyone that has crossed my path or entered my life. Like I always said, be it good or bad, there are always something for us to ponder and learn from.
Life is short and we never know what or who we will lose in the next minute. Let us all end our year with love, joy and forgiveness. Do not hold any grudge to anyone especially your love ones. Always remember that only those who truly love you would dare to tell you off even if it might jeopardize the relationship and hurt your ego.
More often than not, we do not see our own short falls and the mistakes we make in life, it takes much love & courage and someone who care enough to confront you so that you can change for the better. You might not like what you are being told as you might think that someone is nosing into your business and trying to teach you how to run your lives, but most words of concern are like Chinese herbs, bitter but good.
Let us all mend all the broken relationship and forgive those you love and those who loves you (you know it deep down in your heart). Let's not end the old year and enter the new year with grudge, hate and pride. We shall welcome the new year with renewed love, joy, peace and forgiveness as that is what God intended for us. Let by gone be by gone.

New Hairdo
I've been contemplating what to do with my hair for like weeks as it has gone out of style and I kept wondering whether to re-perm it or rebonding. I was really reluctant to perm my hair again as I had maintain that hairstyle for 2 1/2 years and I really wanted a different look. Rebonding is not the choice either as my hair is too fine and I don't have thick hair like many other people so by straightening it will only make my hair looks kind of unflattering. :(
Then my usual MUA recommended me to Shunji Matsuo Hair Studio at Telawi as she said that this salon really offer something refreshing as they specialize in styling Korean & Japanese hairdos. She said the haircut there really makes one looks fresh, young & kawaii. So I decided to give it a try but I didn't made it to the Telawi branch as I found out their HQ is actually located at MidValley. As I planned to look for Keith for lunch then head for my hairdo, hence I decided to kill two birds in one stone and save myself the hassle of driving and searching for parking again.
I wasn't very sure what to do still when I step in to the salon so I just briefly discussed with the stylist. I basically told my hairstylist what are the DON'Ts and pretty much left everything to her hands. :) She is the Director stylist and you will remember her name easily and of course everybody loves that, coz her name is MONEY!!! :D
She is very friendly and professional and I'm glad that I went there for an adventure instead of going back to my usual salon. No regrets. ^.^
Anyway, if you are keen to have a new hairdo since Christmas, New Year & Chinese NY are just around the corner, do give them a try.

The Ugly Truth
I've watched 'The Ugly Truth' acted by Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl one month ago and I find it a very simple and nice movie that, well, like the title, speaks of the ugly truth. Ugly but it's so true.
Any man, irregardless of their background, they always dream and want to have a gf/wife whom they can show off to others. This is what I called the man ego. :P No matter how geeky, homely, decent or innocent a man might look, the bottom line is, all men have their ultimate alpha ego & they fantasize a lot. Whether they can get what they want is another story but all men want to have a hot chic as their gf/wife.
What I really want to talk abt today is SEX. When you wonder why some couples seem so happy with each other and yet you heard that the man seek sexual service/satisfaction elsewhere, paying or not. That is because the ladies have neglected the sex department. Sad to say that, being an understanding, caring & loving wife, it is never enough for the men. you need to be horny & want sex as much as they do.
Sex is a two ways things but sadly most girls usually leave the work to the guys. I'm not sure whether it is due to laziness, shyness or simply just lack of sexual desire. But I must tell you ladies, nothing make a man more happy and excited when their gf/wife initiate sex. You don't have to look like Angelina Jolie or Megan Fox to feel sexy & hot coz trust me, if your guy decided to marry you and spend the rest of his life with you, I'm sure he finds you attractive enough.
Another thing is about up-keeping, For those married one, you see, we are only human, no matter how much your hubby loves you, but years after years, staying with the same person and if you don't upkeep your appearance and you also always refuse sex with your husband. All I can say is, don't be surprise if one day you find your hubby sleeping around. Ladies, let's be real, for guys, sex and love are totally two separate things. Believe me, unless your man is a total jerk who loves to go f*** around else usually a man will be happy to stick with the woman they love & care and if they get enough sexual satisfaction, there is no reason for them to seek for other resources.
One of my friend said to me, "I've been this way even before I got married", well true, but doesn't mean your hubby will want to see the same thing for the rest of his life. Life is really unfair, while man can get by with a growing tummy year after year and still need not worry that their wife would leave them because they are getting fat/old, but when the wife starts growing side way or getting old, they will have to worry whether their husband will look for any younger girls. It is cruel, but it's true.
So ladies, I don't think it is too much to ask of you to at least try to satisfy your man sexually as you gets to enjoy it too. I can't tell you what to do in details in how to please your man, perhaps you can watch some porn and learn from it. Everything you see in porn, turns men on. And if you need any pointers, you can always PM me and I guarantee 100% P&C.
P/S: I am not writing the above based on my own assumption. I have seen and know enough and am sharing my personal experience with you.
Men, admit it or not, you guys are PIG and as much as you want to deny it, you are mostly being control by your d*** than your brain. :P And for the ladies, I'm not trying to scare you, no matter how honest or nerdy your bf/hubby might look, well boys will always be boys. There is NO exception.
